Terms of Service

By accessing or using chitrika.space ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and artists who use Chitrika in any capacity.

You may use Chitrika only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

You agree not to:

• —Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• —Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• —Upload content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable
• —Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• —Use automated systems or scripts to access or interact with the Platform without our permission

You retain full ownership of all artwork and content you upload to Chitrika. Creating a gallery on Chitrika does not transfer any intellectual property rights to us.

By uploading content to the Platform, you grant Chitrika a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. This license ends when you remove the content or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Chitrika's AI-powered tools are designed to assist with text-based tasks such as descriptions and discoverability. These tools operate exclusively on text and metadata.

Chitrika will never use AI or any other technology to alter, edit, or manipulate uploaded artwork images. Your images are always presented exactly as uploaded.

When the Chitrika Marketplace launches, additional terms will govern buying, selling, and transaction processes. These supplementary terms will be provided before the Marketplace becomes available.

Artists set their own prices. Chitrika may collect a platform fee on completed transactions; specific rates will be disclosed clearly before the Marketplace launches.

When Chitrika's Auction feature launches, specific terms for live auctions, reserve prices, and bidding will apply. These will be published separately and in advance.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@chitrika.space. Upon closure, your gallery and personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

Chitrika reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Chitrika does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Platform will be free from errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chitrika shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of Chitrika after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
